Multi-Tap Delay
With up to 16 individual delays, the multi-tap engine is at the core of Shift's design. This system enables expression ranging from massive resonant choruses to distinctly strange ambiences to total textural destruction.
MODULAR TAP EFFECTS
A modular suite of effects to choose from and arrange as you wish, each one applied to every tap in distinct ways. This is the central creative space for sound exploration in Shift, with the expressive potential of each effect extended exponentially via gestural per-tap processing offsets.
WAVETABLE MODULATION ENGINE
One wavetable feeds every tap effect simultaneously. Swap the wavetable and the entire system takes on new character. A selection of wavetable warp modes extends that further, allowing a single effect configuration to produce countless variations in sonic manipulation.
LOCK IN PITCH & TIME
Shift's processing was built to push a signal into diabolically destructive territory. Rein in the abject chaos by pitch locking your effects to a global scale or MIDI source, quantizing the unpredictability of deeply modulated delay signals, and applying Shift's unique delay sequencer to pull straying taps into adjustable rhythmic patterns.
